Job Description

Examine damaged vehicles and efficiently plan the repair process. Guide our customers through the repair process and coordinate repairs with the technicians, insurance companies and clients.

Body Shop Estimator: 

• Establishing rapport with customers and justifying needed repairs and cost
• Examine damaged vehicles and efficiently plan the repair process
• Estimate damage to vehicles visually
• Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair status
• Calculate labor & painting costs
• Evaluating the quality of repair job by technicians
• Close out repair orders on completed work
• Completing parts order sheet for all orders and research alternative sources for hard-to located parts
• Understanding insurance company procedures and estimates of repairs while ensuring accuracy 
• Other duties as assigned

Body Shop Estimator:

• Knowledge of the vehicle repair process by the manufacturer
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting estimate data from insurance company
• CDK management is a MUST
• CCC1 estimating system knowledge highly preferred
• I-Car Certified desired
• Must be able to pass a background check
